John A. Jenkins M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.  Dr. Jenkins received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed his internship and medical residency at Ohio State University.  Dr. Jenkins also studied interventional neuroradiology in New York and stereotactic radiosurgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and Congress of Neurological Surgeons. 

Dr. Jenkins special interest include brain tumors, intracranial vascular abnormalities, complex spine injuries and the use of the Vagal Nerve Stimulator in the treatment of some forms of epilepsy. Dr Jenkins is a skilled and talented neurosurgeon who has been practicing in Orange, Seminole, and Osceola Counties since 1999, he has dedicated his life to treating the lives of others .  His expertise in minimally invasive brain and spine surgery allows the patient quicker recovery.
